Wife Death

I have a unusual problem. I'm playing Ireland and use SS6.1 + total combat and crimson tide.

Domnall O'Neill marries Ingrid, a princess from Denmark. All is fine, but then Denmark got destroyed as a faction, not as my doing, I think it was the last leader died and there was no heirs. Anyways, she dies, the family tree says she died peacefully, but her portrait is still lit up and is not greyed out, its like she has not died.

I did not save and reloaded an old save. Started again, and when Brian O'Niell died, the current faction leader she died again, but no dark portrait, looks like she still alive.

Im at turn 41, so is there somethin I can do to stop this or fix it and what would causer it anyways?

I have noticed that princesses don't "gray out" when they die, like lesser noblewomen do. Probably has something to do with a 'dead' tga picture not existing for them.

no it has to do with some bug in the game I think. In my own mod I have dead portraits and everything and all the princesses who do NOT marry but die before the nunnery will grayout. But NO married princess will gray out, even using default portraits. Once you unpack the files, something goes wrong that I have never been able to figure out.

Anyone else?

Sorry for bumping an old thread but, I've re installed M2TW along with the awesome SS6.4 plus submods and was wondering if this bug still occurs? Has anyone came up with a fix or a tip so I could avoid getting princess who died but the portraits remains the same (not grayed out).? I've been souring google and twcenter but found no fix what so ever.
