Scripting problem
I've made some changes to the EBBS script.
I've added numerous historical characters, plus some missions that happen at a set time.
However, I cannot load a game and play it properly.
Whenever I load it, I cannot end a turn without it crashing to desktop.

Re: Scripting problem
You must have made a typo in the script edits or saved using a bad text editor.

Re: Scripting problem
Hmm, haven't used a bad text editor.
Is there a way to check for typos?
I don't have problems actually playing the game, got it all the way to 234 BC at one point, in a row.
Just when I save and reload, it crashes.

Re: Scripting problem
Okay, so anyhow, here is how it is. In case it wasn't clear before.
I can start a new game just fine.
I can play it for as long as I want to.
However, I cannot save the game, quit it, and load it again, without it crashing the next turn. This only happens after I've activated the script.
Is there some sort of reloading of the script I have to do?

Re: Scripting problem
What text editor did you use? Some can't understand the coding (such as the puncuation in the foreign names) and won't save them correctly even if you didn't edit that area of the script.
There is a problem in the end-turn scripted events. Most likely you'll just have to revert to the original unedited script. If you didn't back it up, you might just have to reinstall.

Re: Scripting problem
Okay, been using textpad, so don't think that's been the problem.
I've uploaded the entire script to filefront. The part I have edited starts at the line entitled ";Cozurs edited script"
Would be great if you could have a quick look at it, to see if any mistakes have been made!
