Or is it in a separate game folder? If so, how do you start it?
If not, how do you preserve your files, do you have to make a backup?

SS is in it's own directory. When you install it, you start it from a shortcut that gets placed on your desktop.
Oh, okay, that's good!
If Blood, Broads, and Bastards! mod is installed as well, what happens? I don't want it to run with SS since I like to play BBB on vanilla but not on mods - will it not run?

SS uses BBB already I'm afraid. So you will have to use it with SS![]()

I think the latest version of BBB is already in SS...The version already installed should not affect a mod folder however.

Actually BBB wasn't in another folder it was just a bunch of files I had to copy over... which is why I'm asking since I don't know how to remove it now![]()

I know, that's why I'm tryna see if I can revert to vanilla or uninstall BBB but I can't figure out a way...

Just delete the BBB files in your vanilla folders. The vanilla game will just revert to the vanilla files stored in the .pack files. Failing that, you'd have to reinstall M2TW from scratch
Sounds kinda complicated!
Can't reinstall unfortunately... I don't want to risk it, I'm scaredy cat.
The problem is that I can't remember if the BBB files OVERWROTE other files or if they were individual new files that I put in - or if it was a mix of both.

I'm 99.53% certain that you didn't overwrite any files when you installed BBB in your vanilla folder. At least I dont have any of the traits and ancillary files in my vanilla data folder![]()
I just tested it- When I run Medieval2 without using the bat file it can run perfectly (seemingly for 2 turns at least) so I'm guessing I didn't overwrite anything. Good.
Thanks for the help, sorry for the bother.![]()
