The obvious choice is to decline this offer, however, my Lord has never experimented with becoming a vassal. So in this instance my Lord reccomends you accept and post the results here.
Most likely you will lose the campaign.
All Hail Lord Feloric
I accepted and the next turn all the Roman factions offered alliances with me which was cool. I must commend Lusted for the great work done in his AI. Now I'm rolling with my Roman homies to take out Gaul and Macedon.
He's probably using Banzai's mod.
"Romans not only easily conquered those who fought by cutting, but mocked them too. For the cut, even delivered with force, frequently does not kill, when the vital parts are protected by equipment and bone. On the contrary, a point brought to bear is fatal at two inches; for it is necessary that whatever vital parts it penetrates, it is immersed. Next, when a cut is delivered, the right arm and flank are exposed. However, the point is delivered with the cover of the body and wounds the enemy before he sees it."
- Flavius Vegetius Renatus (in Epitoma Rei Militari, ca. 390)
well becoming a vassal does means A: Their closer to their victory objectives. If they need 25 territories, they have 15 and u have 10 and u sign that treaty: GAME LOST
And B: u will lose large parts of your treasury. accepting to become a vassal is not something one should do with "supreme" powers...
E:TW's natives have developed a new "Ballistic Automatic Detection And Seeking System" to utterly annihilate any European that sets foot on their soil... That's BADASS for short!
Hes probably using the mod in his sig...
Hegemon is a hilarious modlove the super spartans..
Haha, I once became a vassal of the Mongols when I was playing with Milan. I only did it so I could move large stacks of armies into all their of their lands. They didnt know what hit them when the one one hundre thousand man crossbow army fired on them.
Swizz cheese!
lol
When you are a vassal I don't believe you have to pay any florins to your client kingdom. Or am I wrong? I know the AI pays you if you make it your vassal but I'm pretty sure you don't lose any money becoming one.
It IS the other way around. I tried it before and I lost 12.300 to Venice... crap...

WOW! Over one turn or a period of time?
I have become vassal twice and never noticed anything notable in my economy.
lol
I don't agree here, have a llok at your black money "casserole" in the right corner of the UI, depending on how well you are doing you will have to give close to half of what you make. To be clear the vassals need to make around 10 000 florins in profit to give 1/2 of it to his protecter if he doesn't make that amount the protector won't receive any money from his vassals
Shave their ambassador's beard and send him home without his pants!
