Wierd Problem in M2TW

Hey guys:

Specifications as followed:

E8400 3.0Ghz
8800GT
2GB RAM
Windows XP
Western Digital 320GB HDD
Gigabyte EP35-DS3P
No sound Card

When I play M2TW ON any setting whatsoever I get the same problem: Stutter, with the super computer I have. Nothing is Overclocked and all updated drivers. The Game runs fine at high FPS (30+) and then BAM, stutter. Like this:

You can see the stutter at 10 seconds.

Well, Toshiba, I just got off work an hour ago and I have no computer access there much less internet.

I say it's the game as it's only made for single core cpu, no matter how fast, and and the video was optimized for what it had for gpus and video drivers in those days. It's not your machine. Does it do good after it gets all those polygons loaded into ram?

On-Topic: I also get wierd Screen tearing where the screen tears (One part is smooth and the other part is late, doesn't follow the other part resulting in an annoying tear.

I have a dual core CPU and I don't get those, and my graphics card is slightly worse than yours too.

Do you have any other processes running? Anything hogging memory?

I have the same problem with my Dual Core. It works fine after a few minutes though.

No, minimal things on my Task Manager. I'm going to try medieval 2 On Vista and Windows 7 (from Microsoft) to see if they work better or worse (freshly booted)

You could try a lower detail?

Another idea.
AMD for their dual cores have a utility that keeps the cpu time with the motherboard time for games and it seems to help graphics because of all the graphics lines in the motherboard.
Might check Intel's website to see if they have one for your cpu.

No sound card? Do you at least have a Realtec onboard audio chip and its drivers activated?

Yeah, I have a Realtek and have the installed drivers from the Disk from Gigabyte.

I would say it's the limitation's of the game, not the computer's fault. I hope Empires does better for these high end machines.

Just one more thing: It happens most around trees, does this help?

EDIT: Sorry to go off topic, but why did I lose 3 rings under my post count? I remember I had 4 rings and now I have this 1 thing...
