Need some urgent help
I was installing Kingdoms today, and during the patching process before the installation proper my computer unexpectately restarted due to an automatic windows update. When I tried again, it said the patching could not be completed - some file corruption.
I uninstalled M2TW, and then tried reinstalling it so I could start it all afresh, but now I can't install that.
I'm guessing the interrupted installation of Kingdom caused some file corruption, probably in the file registry.
How do I completely wipe my computer of everything, registry files included, to do with the game I so I can do a clean installation?

Re: Need some urgent help
Oh, how many times have been through this. You are correct in your assumptions of the corrupted files.
Uninstall what it will let you, maybe none. Delete the Sega folder. If you have Vista, delete the Sega folder in the virtual store, also. Any questions concerning Vista, refer to the sticky at the top "Total War and Vista" at the top of this forum.
Get a registry cleaner and there are many free ones that are good. Whatever it finds, delete, clean, or what the program calls it. Maybe surprised how much other garbage you've accumulated.
Now you should be ready to install.
I disable all autoupdates including Windows when I'm doing something like this.
