    Closing to 400 turns of campaign ,milestone , Pechenegs continue to siege every year Cherson city.


    After so many years Pechenegs and Magyars are the best creations of Koultouras that need no changes at all.
    The main difference with Magyars os that Pechenegs have more infantry units. Both have supreme horsearchers though. So do not try to encounter them in flat terain in open fields.

    they open up other buildinglines like Bank and slavetrade + provide settlement bonus (law, trade and happiness) and malus (heretic religion)

    400 turns milestone reached in my campaign ussing XAI 4.1 in VH/VH difficulties.


    The Empire is so vast that produse a huge ammount of money. But beware...Money will be a usefull tool to bribe enemy armies or buy few turns of peace. So don't over-exited! I have spent over two milion gold pieces to such actions.
    Here how the new unit cards look in game now.

    just finished a new script for the Eastern frankish empire (there spot on the map seems a bit to save to me)
    Now viking Raids in the north sea areas (Hamburg, frisia, lothringen) and there losses affect TGC´s map and the eastern frankish empire.

    A new institutional law building with up to 4 tiers now reflect the development of civil law for different factions.

    Actually, I think that EB2 is way ahead of all other historical Med2 mods. We all compete for the second place

    And don't forget 1648: TYW, Die Italienische Kriege (DIK/TIW) and especially the Broken Crescent - all are very historical, and very much developed.

    My major problem with the TGC is the eastern front - lack of Armenia, Syria and Palestine on map.

    You all played numerus mods that are about the same era with vanilla game more or less.
    All of you that played Byzantines you reqruited Varangian Guard. But have you ever thought how that created.
    Thanks to Miquel_80 and _tartaros_ the script works like a charm.
    Vladimir (the first half slav half Rus) prince , after killing his brothers he desided to find not only a new religion that will make his throne stable but also a strong ally.
    By that time Romans (Byzantines) had allready crashed Abbasids by Basil the 2nd but still fought in Italy and in the balkans against Bulgarians and faced a huge rebelion in Asia Minor by bith Vardas Phokas and Vardas Scleros.
    Basil found him self in difficult position when new from Cherson arrived that the fall of the city was a mater of time.

    But suddenly :

    Such an offer was a huge and direct insult to the Emperor but Basil proved many times that served his people over his pride!
    So Anna , Basil's sister married Vladimir under one condition . Rus should become Christians! That time a rebelion against Vladimir broke (next data build script).
    In return Vladimir got rid of old fasioned Rus warriors by sentong them to Basil that seeked a reliable guard for him self after so many imperial murders made infront of his eyes before he become an Emperor.
    The result was the birth of the Varangian Guard:


    Politicaly Vladimir's move to take Cherson was a well calculated gamble. HE knew that despite the fact that Rus had already defeated varius Slavic tribes and the remains of the Chazar Empire , the capture of the city would provoke the biggest power sooner or later. By accepting Christianity he apeared as the Reprepsentative of the True God for Rus inder the Ultimate representative of God in the Entire Universe aka the Roman Emperor.

    Awesome I can't wait. I have several really good campaigns going on several mods it's nice how they can interrelate.
    Does the 1000 campaign work? If so should I be excepting Turkmen (Orguz) raids?

    the 1000 campaign is "playable" - but only kind of. the work on this campaign starts after all units are fixed and implanted and several big scripts and changes are done for bigger factions like the bulgarian empire. it´s basicly a second game, using the units and infrastructure from the main game - but it´s to early to fully develope the campaign at this point.i´ve used the 1000 th campaign basicly to test spawn factions like hre, turcomans, normans a.s.o. and see if they have any issues.

    a Norse Raid with wendish allies after refusing to pay them off

    We will have our own strat_map models for characters. So fat Jurcek1987 CONVERTED Roman General, Roman Captain and working on Roman Diplomat. Creating strat_map models requires some serius time consume.
    In this stage we focus on finishing all rosters battle map models.
