Please insert the original disc instead of a backup (1000).

This is what happens when I launch tw2. I got both the kingdoms and tw2 disc inserted. Originals.

What other games do you have installed? Do you have dvd/cd burning software installed?

No dvd/cd burning software installed. Other games is farcry 2, the crysis games, stalker games, fallout 3, silent hunter 3 and 4.
It only happens with the retrofit mod though. Retail version works fine. I sent an email to securerom.

Silent Hunter also uses Securom.

Cant find the silent hunter discs. The problem seems to be limited to the retrofit mod. I also had a windows uppdate the same day.

I have Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod, Regions and Provinces Mod, and vanilla Kingdoms without a problem. Windows update didn't cause the problem.

I had a two hour long session, took a break and now its broken again. Wtf?
edit : Running the game as non administrator and it works. However all the settings had been altered. And the animation in the main meny didnt work.
