I just bought Rome Total War for the 3rd time. I also end up scratching it all up or breaking it. So maybe this time I will actually get to play it more.
And btw, I need a mod that isnot big to download and is fun. Any suggestions?

There are plenty of extremely fun mods, all of them having their advantages and disadvantages. Some have a better campaign map or better units, others are more historically accurate. You have to know what you are aiming for - should the game be historical at any cost, are great battles the main priority or do you want to have a fun and unique campaign map?
Europa Barbarorum is very deep and unique but since it is a quite big mod it will take a while to download so it is probably not what you are looking for. The latest Rome Total Realism Release - The Iberian Conflict - is also a possible choice. It will keep you entertained for quite some time but isn't that big so downloading will not take that long. Rome Surrectum 1.5 would be another great choice. However, it is rather big so you have to decide whether you consider it worth the wait. Last but not least, Troy Total War is undoubtedly an interesting and fun mod. Furthermore, it is not that big so downloading will not take as long. These are just a few mods I played myself and there are of course plenty of other fun mods out there that are just as great and worth playing.
Many great mods require the Barbarian Invasion expansion as well and if you do not already own it I would suggest purchasing it since it is rather cheap nowadays.
Curious Curialist curing the Curia of all things Curial.
The Mutli-Mod Sampler might give you some ideas as to which mod you like, though some of the samples are for BI mods.
It's only 20 megs.

Anyway 'Celsius', Sicilia might interest you.![]()
Not so much my temper as my delight in buying it for friends so they could play my mods...![]()

Yeah, there's been some pretty good examples given above. I myself have played most of them and can vouch for Sicilia, Roma Surrectum, Europa Barbarorum, and Troy: Total War. If you are looking for a small download, you might also like to try Extended Greek Mod, as well as something like Imperator II if you're Rome-oriented.
Thank you all for the suggestions. I think I'll check most pf them and see which ones interest me![]()
I'd recommend XGM.
Small download? Check, 60 MB compressed installer, 250 Megs when installed, IIRC, all in its own mod-folder.
Fun? Also check. Very fun.
Welcome back to RTW, Celsius!
