Default Crazy idea for new agent-types

Hey guys, I've really enjoyed this mod - it is by far the very best there is for the MTW game, and I really appriciate all the effort and endless work hours you put into it. Im a fanatical player of DLV and hooked on this forum every day now.

Played almost every faction now since 5.0, with their unique ups and downs and I got some (maybe silly) ideas for some new agent types. Im not even sure it is possible to implement them as theyre prob hardcoded. Anyways here goes:

Physician, to negate the effect of disease and help your characters better survive the dreaded plague. Maybe raise the % of their survival chances. They could be built in a city after the construction of university, and have a very high upkeep cost.

    and

Lawyer, to negate the effect of inquisitors or at least help out your blasphemious characters avoid meeting a burning death on the stake. They could also be trained in cities with an university, and could also have a high upkeep cost.

As I said, I don't know if its possible - or even a good idea for that matter - however, i've really needed the above agents in almost every game of DLV i've playes thus far and thats really how I came up with the idea

    Hiya JubaMaster,

I like your ideas, I don't know about creating new agents but they could be ancillaries.

For completing papal mission the pope awards you your own personal inquisitor, immunity to witches and inquisitors, improved chances of piety increasing traits.

With the phyisician I guess this already exists in some form but would need to be able to increase healing time for characters, prevent plague infection or increase resistance chances like you say.

Perhaps the physician can come from the top tier alchemist buildings.

    Nice ideas mate

Yeah JubaMaster, these varied agent types are game enhancing if there's the slots free and the modelling talent at hand. Good thoughts - dunno how possible they are to impliment.

    Keep up the DLV addiction...

Medieval 2 actually has a doctor ancillary already. The requirements to obtain the doctor, the % chance you have of getting him, and how to get other similar ancillaries can be found in this thread
