    There are about 20 different places where you can make a fatal error.

    Start by changing your log from error to trace in the CFG file:
    [log]
    to = logs/M2TW.system.log.txt
    level = * trace
    Run the mod again, compress the (now way larger) log and attach here. Maybe we can spot something.

    I fixed an error I found in descr_strat (I forgott to change name of "turks" when I cloned the lines), I have also redone both files you mentioned, but it still won't launch.

    It still crashes right after the faction leader trigger has fired. I think just upload your mod (delete map.rwm, compress the whole folder) and I will have a look at it.

    1. The ottomans are not in descr_sounds_music_types as a faction
    2. You have assigned the region of Edessa to the ottomans, but this region is not entered in descr_regions, the region is present in map_regions (see blue circle)
    3. You have got an 'orphaned' entry in descr_strat, see the red box - unit without any further entry

    Fix those issues and then try again.

    It appears you created a new interface graphic but somehow it isn't entered correctly. Check in the manual on how to enter new pages correctly. Make sure the page is in the right folder and that the spelling is correct. Otherwise the new SD file will not be created and a crash will happen.

    thanks, the problem was that i renamed the folder southern european to eastern european. but the game crashes at about 3/4 loading bar and i still have a long log file

    Compress the new log file and attach it here. Error fixing is sometimes a step by step exercise - particularly if you haven't tested your changes often enough. The game will crash at the the first fatal error, once it is fixed it will crash at the next one.
    To prevent this tedious business, test as soon as you have finish with a particular modification. It might appear time consuming, but I guess after this bug hunting you might change your mind.

    And here is the next error (search the log file for the marked entry):
    11:52:35.118 [system.io] [warning] open: data/models_strat/textures/ambasador_romania.tga is missing
    11:52:35.118 [data.invalid] [error] Insufficient video memory to load requested texture set
    These two lines go together - the error line about video memory simply means, that the texture in the previous line is not available.
    You must have created a new entry in descr_model_strat (ambassador for new faction romania) without providing the texture. Please check all other new entries as well in descr_model_strat to see if the textures exist in the folder mentioned in the warning line.

    i created the files in models_start/textures, as you sayed ambasador_romania.tga is missing, well there is a file named ambasador_romania.tga but if i swith folder view to detailed i cansee that the file is dds, if i open it with GIMP it gives me error... should i use a random converter or i can simply modify the enry in models_start.txt to ambasador_romania.tga.dds ?

    Get the DDS plugin for GIMP, open the file without mipmaps and save as tga file (remove dds extension)
