    Thank you HbHadast, thank you Agis, thank you Shadrach, I'm totally modded out the now after the festive frenzy. My head is mince! Many thanks for sorting this out. I really like Team DLV - everyone takes the sensible initiative at the moment it's needed. Good stuff gang - as always.

    Hiya Tokus, I've fixed the distortion of the custom battle player and team faction symbols: Attachment 69339

    Extract it to the data\menu folder, they look perfect now

    Dearest Symbols fixer test subjects/animals

    I have been working on possibly fixing the bug with graphics messing up after a few turns with the set. As detailed in this thread:

    I've been trying to go away from the strat/shared.txt files because I suspect maybe the bug is in the sd_converter script by alpaca. The alternative is XML files which actually are more elegant since they are "automagically" rebuilding the SD when changed (and game is loaded). Also the xml files are the recommended way to do these kinds of changes.

    It was a read PITA to hack the xml file and I had plenty of crashes, but I really hope this works Attached is a zip file, the files need to go in mods\DLV_ext\data\UI\ as usual. They should rebuild the SD files when game is loaded...

    Please report asap if you still get the weird graphics, I hope not. You need to play at least 3-4 turns before it shows up (usually)

    I still get the weird graphics, the third time I check on a unit's info card (you know, right click on a unit's card to see the info details)

    That's quite troubling to me Agis... are you sure its the same error?
    Do you mean its reproducible, it happens every time when clicking on a unit card for the third time?

    Or only this one time?

    I've not had any errors since changing it but not had time to play more than a couple turns in a row...

    Even at the very first turn, if you right click on a unit card for THREE times in a row, you get some weird graphics.
    They do not disappear even if you click next turn...

    Have you experienced something like that?

    That's what happened to me but I only clicked on a unit card 2 or maybe 3 times, then clicked next turn after turn ends everything got worse and game freezes... that was it

    Are those things compatible with each other?

    Yes, yes they are Agis - not related at all

    I will probably if all goes well upload another version of the symbols with this fix in (IF it works as expected), as well as the mtw2.lnt if thats ok with you?

    Yeah that happened to me. It froze. I rebooted the game and so far okay. I'll try the three cars click to see if I can cause it. It does not appear after a few turns to have troubled me again. That's SO weird.

    Strange I'm unable to reproduce the bug here... Right clicking three times on a unit card does nothing special...

    But if you guys say its a minor thing its cool by me, and I'm not too sure its the same bug either

    A minor bug? ... It totally kills the game and you think it might be a minor bug??!!

    I suppose that when it crashes it's really just sleeping...

    This is looking quite pythonesque... I feel like John Cleese...

    It is a serious bug, I don't think anyone could consider it minor. You are unaffected, so what are you doing different? Please describe your installation

    edit:

    OK nevermind, try this: Start a campaign, end a turn, alt+tab to the desktop, alt+tab back, right click a unit card = problem

    So perhaps some change which has been made is not compatible with alt+tabbing... I think this is pretty serious...

    All that appears to be happening is that the picture is being called. My questions would be: Which file organises these pictures and have we edited it? If so which bits? How do they differ from vanilla? Can we have the desired effect without this difference? ... But I don't know much about this area or what has been done...
