[SS AAR] The Kingdom of Heaven

Although my last attempt at an AAR was not completed, I am ready to start and FINISH this one.

I will be playing as the Kingdom of Jerusalem, on Stainless Steel 6.1.

Info/Goals:
-Playing on M/M (Won't risk it with the Fatamid Calif. so close)
-NO RELOADS!!!
-No cheats
- COMPLY WITH THE POPE!
- My biggest goal- Take control of the Holy land, and found the Kingdom of Heaven

Let's see this. I think it'd be interesting to see what other possibilities there are to conquer the Holy Land.

Here she is! The very first Update! (Unfortunatly there is an error with either the site or my comp, but I cannot attach images, I will try to get them on eith later today, or tomorrow)

The Word of God
The Promised Land was the land of Israel. The capital of this land, would come to be called Jerusalem . It was Jews who conquered this land centuries ago, and they brought the city to greatness. But, after constant invasion, the KIngdom of Israel fell leaving the city to stand on its own. The city would then fall to the dreaded Arabs from the south. It would be years later, that the city was taken by the Christian Crusaders, who belived that this city was the holiest. Now, in the year 1200 AD, the Kingdom of Jerusalem has risen to defend, and retake, The Holy Land.

The Council-
King Jean the Honorable sat in his chair as the rest of the kings and dignitaries entered the chamber. It was a large chamber inside of the Apostolic Palace. The celing was lined with magnificent stone carvings, and a painting of an Angel coming down from the heavens, covered the center. In the center of the chamber, sat an Ilongated table, where the Kings sat. The Pope, sat atop a large throne at the head of the table. Surrounding the table were several balconies where dignataries watched.

After a fw minutes of waiting the last of the dignataries entered, and Pope Honorius III sat apon his throne. He gestured to the man to his right to begin. It was Doge Angelo of Venice, and he was a very tall man with very short brown hair dressed in long gown, that a merchant would wear.
"Monarchs of the Christian World!" He boomed, " I have the utmost pleasure, of beging the foruth Lateran Coucil, with the issue of the Croatian Uprising in the Venitian Republic."

After around three hours of waiting, the final Issue appeared.
"And Finally," Angelo began, "the King of Jeusalem, Jean the Honorable, will adress the council on the state of the holy land."

Jean stood up and began, "Thank you, Now at this very moment, the Kingdom of Jerusalem is being encroached by the Muslim Fatamids. In the city of Jerusalem alone, we have found and executed five Fatamid spies." The Kings began to murmur to eachother as he spoke the word spies. "Therefore, I would like to request that a Crusade be organized, to capture the key Fatamid fortress of Gaza in the name of God!"

Immidiatly the Pope stood up, "I agree! Let the world know, that a crusade has been called!" And the room burted with noise, from shouts of praise, to murmers of dissatisfaction.

Although the last update was done only thirty minutes ago . Here is the next one.

The Attack on Gaza

King Jean looked over his men one final time before he attacked the fortress. His men were all eager, but managed to calm and stay in rank as he rode over to his trebuchets.

The day in the desert was always a dry heat, much like it was that day, however, the sands were oddly still. The sun was at its apex when King Jean positioned his men. He rode up to one of his men in control of the trebuchets.

"Fire when ready." He said calmly, and then rode back over to his guard. It only took a few moments before the trebuchets began to fire on the imposing wall, already begining to crack through. Jean gestured to his spearmen and they began to march up the hill towards Gaza.

Although the wall was imosing, it fell within ten minutes of being pounded away by Jean's trebuchets. Jean reached the hill with his spearmen to find the Fatamid cavalryapproaching the gap, he grinned and thought heathen impiciles.

In a flash Jean raised his blade and pointed it at the Fatamids yelling, "Attack!" and his spearmen rushed through the gap, and with great speed the crashed into the cavalry, impaliing the entir front line. Soon, the spearmen had encircled the cavalry, finding the general at its core. Jean watched as a lone spearmen, stabbed the general's horse, sending him fling off its back, and breking his spine ultimatly killing him.

Jean smiled and ordered his guard through the breach, and into the fortress. He then galloped to the seccond wall, finding that the gate had been left open. Jean charged in, to find seventy muslim archers praying before the keep. Jean moved over, and then watched as in unison, the muslims, broke their bows and slit their own necks. It was a horiffic sight, that caused the king to cringe, but he immediatly turned to his guard.

"Gaza is ours!"

A Burning Hatered Realized
Baudouin de Lorraine was a young man who had joined the crusade to gain his family recognition, which he did greatly. That day, he had been deploied to take a poorly defended town at the end of the Sainai Peninsula. Although, he was not briefed on the fact that a nine-hundered man army was very close nearby. His army had moved to very close proximity to the town, when he was forced to reteat to the other end of the peninsula. He was followed however, and with the troops tired, and low on morale, it should turn out to be an interesting battle.


Baudouin looked at the imposing forces before him, and his forces. He knew that he would more than likely loose the battle, but he was willing to take a few muslims down with him.

Baudouin cracked his neck and took hold of the reigns as he saw the enemy archers get in range. He drew his sword from his sheath, and he savoured the long sound of metals srcapeing together. He attempted to raise it high in the air, but because of his muscular dystophy, it wobbled at half the height a regular man could raise the sword. Never the less, he cried out to his soldiers, "Charge!"


His men cried out and sped down the hill toward the enemy. Adrenalin took over his body as he galloped at full speed toward the enemy. He could see the other cavalry point their lances down, ready to break the enemy rank. Suddenly, Baudouin saw a barrage of arrows fly out from the archer bows. Almost instantly, one of his legs went numb after being impaled by a single arrow, he screamed out, and loosed in hold on the reigns. He cringed with pain, but then felt a seccond arrow impale his thigh on the same leg. As a reflex, his hand shot down to his thigh, and he pulled the arrow from its burrow. He looked at his hand and thigh, only to see him bleeding uncontrolably. He felt faint, but then felt another arrow impale his chest, and his version blurred, as he watched his bodyguard's horse collapse from under him. Then, his vision dissappeared. He had died.
