Yeah, like it says in the topic, which are in your opinion the most evil and despicable movie characters?

    I can think of some,

Brick Top (Alan Ford) in Snatch.
Don Logan (Ben Kingsley) in Sexy Beast.
The Joker (Heath Ledger) in The Dark Knight.
John Doe (Kevin Spacey) in Se7en.
Assef (Abdul Salam Yusoufzai) in The Kite Runner.
Amon Goeth (Ralph Fiennes) in Schindler's List.

    Id say Ben Kingsley.

Im not sure it was in Sexy Beast, cuz I forgot the title. It was a movie about a retired British gangster living on Ibiza that gets........by Ben Kingsleys character to do a last coup.

Played so well, I hated the guy watching the movie, and then I realize he also can play Ghandi so well.

Sauron and Palpatine no question. If a movie came out featuring the events of "Silmarillion" I'd vote Morgoth/Melkor though
Frederick II of Prussia: "All Religions are equal and good, if only the people that practice them are honest people; and if Turks and heathens came and wanted to live here in this country, we would build them mosques and churches."
Norge: "Give me a break. Nothing would make you happier than to see the eagle replaced with a crescent."

Ummon:"enforcing international law will require that the enforcers do not respect it"
Olmstead v USA:"Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that in the administration of the criminal law the end justifies the means-to declare that the government may commit crimes in order to secure the conviction of a private criminal-would bring terrible retribution. Against that pernicious doctrine this court should resolutely set its face."

Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who can't defend themselfs.
When you stand before god you can not say "I was told by others to do this" or that virtue was not convenient at the time

Yeah that is Sexy Beast He's one of my favourite actors, he's brilliant.

Oh and the nurse from that Stephen King movie, Misery. She's insane.

Warden Norton hands down. I think that killing a guy that might set an innocent man free just so he could get richer and so that Andy would not talk is pretty despicable.

Seconded. She's as evil as it gets.
August Strindberg: "There's a view, current at the moment even among quite sensible people, that women, that secondary form of humanity (second to men, the lords and shapers of human civilisation) should in some way become equal with men, or could so be; this is leading to a struggle which is both bizarre and doomed. It's bizarre because a secondary form, by the laws of science, is always going to be a secondary form. Imagine two people, A (a man) and B (a woman). They start to run a race from the same point, C. A (the man) has a speed of, let's say, 100; B (the woman) has a speed of 60. Now, the question is 'Can B ever overtake A?" and the answer is 'Never!'. Whatever training, encouragement or self-denial is applied, the proposition is as impossible as that two parallel lines should ever meet."

Daniel Plainview from There Will be Blood. He really is a despicable character in the movie, especially when the derrick catches on fire and he is just watching it burn knowing that he will be rich from this and his associate asks him if son is ok and he just says"No he isn't" and keeps on sitting there dreaming about his money.

Came to think of this thread again. Alan Rickman in Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves, as well.

Not quit evil his brother I think was more so in Die hard 3. But Hans Grueber (sp) Was perhaps one of the smartest (Not mad scientist smart but real world smart) and most thoughtful in his goals than 99% of movie villains out there.

SorelusImperion The problem with Sauron in the movies of the LOTR is simply that he is only really seen in the first few minutes of first film when it shows the Last alliance against him.

I guess Blofeld could be considered I mean killing Mrs Bond on her wedding day although he may be trumped by Franz Sanchez in Liscence to Kill.
