Custom charachters, pretty please??

I originally abandoned the game (RTW 1.5 btw, since fixed on RTR) when one of the most interesting features, the family-character-trait system (VnV) seemed resolutely un-modded. Basically, I wanted to play my genius self and populate the world with my progeny but no dice. So I waited FOUR YEARS in the vain hope that some altruistic soul would produce the missing tool. Having restarted the game however I can still not find a tool that allows to create custom characters, and I forgot how to do it manually (which IIRC was also rather time consuming and unrewarding). I cannot imagine I am the only he-who-would-be-khan out there. Help??

Like I posted to you in the FAQ thread, what your asking is practically impossible, or very very hard to make, involving many scripts and stuff which I don't know much about. You would do better to ask in the modding forums.

You cannot do it in game. Never will be able to. You can, however, make a character with your name + traits that represent you on the starting map. Ask in the Workshop for more details.
