Dave Scarface back from modding retirement!

Hey guys, having released my last patch for KGCM (3.8) today, it is time for me to announce my retirement from the modding community. I first released this mod for Kingdoms back in 2007. This was my first mod and the only one I ever made. Although I was also a proud team member of DLV for a while.

I am pleased to say that I take great satisfaction in the final state of my mod before I retire

I finally feel like thats it, I completed my work, there is nothing left for me to do.

Although KGCM remains imperfect, I feel that I have give it my best, and this is now the right time for me to bow out. Its been great fun making my own contribution to the TW community. Sometimes it was hard working on my own and could be demanding. But eventually I decided to take on some team members. Thanks to everyone that helped! The fans encouraged me to continue to work on this mod. And I always took the fans opinions into account. Although I made the final decision on things myself in the end (I never allowed this mod to lose its direction). I did let the fans have a great say on this mods development. I would like to thank all of the fans who posted and still take part in this mod community.

Lastly I would also like to thank the following modders that helped me out along the way: Lusted, userprobe, xeryx, Unspoken knight, Repman, Tokus Maximus, King Kong, Spurius, Candelarius, Harry Lime, Bdotward.

Thank you for all your work on this mod. It is quite easily one of the most professional mods i have seen done in any game.

To think that dave did 98% of the work by himself and took MANY hours out of his own personal time to work on a great mod for us, is remarkable. I thank you for many hours of enjoyment at your expense

Thanks my friends, ETW and hotseat games will keep me around TWC for a long while yet! I intend to still be active on these forums.

Thanks so much dave scarface...you gave two fortysomething PC gamers the dream of being able to play a working hotseat together in our weekly gaming sessions. On top of that the mod is terribly sweet. My favorite for my single player games as well. You are a shining star,..no matter who you are....you shone bright to see...fulfilled the dream for me...adieu.
