    Default Redundant Unit

Just wondering if you had removed the redundant numidian (or berber, can't remember which) skirmishing unit, there seems to be one that is a merc and one that is an aor unit, and though their stats are the same, they vary in unit size. it's been in the edu forever, but seems like you should just keep the aor one if you're still looking for extra unit slots.

There are also 3 Numidian Javeline Cavalry units in game:

    1. The original Numidian Cav. ( Numidian faction unit, has armour piercing + larger unit size, iirc ).
    2. The carthaginian imitate.
    3. The Numidian Mercenary Cavalry ( has armour piercing, but canīt be retrained unlike Balearian slingers f.e. )

Actually, since most AOR units are available ( and retrainable ) as mercs, one could save even 2 slots ( retraining cavalry isnīt as vital as infantry, and since the support lines become really long, itīs quite nerving, to bring them back "to the desert".
Besides, the numidian original + merc both got armour piercing - but what is a historical reason for the fact, that the carthaginian ( generally AOR ) unit doesnīt? Do they use a javelins of lower quality or smth?

One additional thing: I already mentioned, that the Carthaginians mostly do not manage to take over Sicily ( yea, i know, it depends on the fact, if they manage to take Agrigento ), and this makes them quite passive all the time ( while Greeks seem to be obsessed by invading Malta - in my current roman campaign they tried to D-Day my tinny island, years after they lost Syrakuse, and while fighting on several fronts in Greece and Asia Minor. Greeks and Romans were trade partners, and they paid quite a bunch of denari for the peace, but they still tried to land and take the city! )

And instead of looking towards rich spanish mines, the Carthaginians first try to overrun the Numidians, and normaly they manage to destroy the faction after a while. But that wasnīt the case, since numidian lands were quite poor, and those tinny provinces were completly worthles for the sea faring and trading people like we know them from the history.

Those units would definitely be worth cutting if I needed the EDU space, but they're not taking up too much space in the DMB, so I think I'll let them be. We're doing ok on EDU space right now.

I think the Greek issue will be addressed in the next version between map changes and turning off their naval preference.

As for Carthage, I'm not sure what to do about that. I may reduce the size of North African garrisons to encourage their expansion towards Spain. I've also added a region in Spain that I hope will kick-start their expansion there.

btw, we had a power outage last night, if anyone was wondering about my odd posting.
