battle error.

i have a windows vista laptop with more then the right requirements...

the game ran fine.. then i believe what i did was try to run the unpacker... i let it go for a while..then it got a little over half when..it just shut down..ive tried several more times and it just closes when it gets to that file..and now when i play.. (exluding britannia and americas campaign) it will close on any battle, historical, custom, quick, campaign.. the campaign map and everything works fine.. its just battles... it will load all the way.. go to the battle screen for maybe 2 seconds then crash and say it encountered an unspecific error and will now exit..

i just reinstalled it and i got the same problem.

help please.

When I had Vista, I had to unpack the pack files one at a time. Vista got overloaded about 23,000 files and quit on me.

After unpacking, read the unpacker readme of which two geography files you have to delete or battles will crash.
