The following AARs received same amount of votes. Time to settle their places!

"Sword of Albion"

Author: Theodotos I
Faction: Clan MacDougall
Difficulty: M/M
Description: War rages across the Highlands as a grief-stricken father exacts revenge upon the murderers of his son—and anyone else who gets in his way. Young clansman Ewan MacDougall is caught in the middle, well aware that no one is immune from the chieftain's wrath and that every step he takes could be his last. . .

The Rise of The Irish Kingdom

Author: Pink Beard

Faction: Ireland

Difficulty: vh/m

Description: The Title says it all. Filled with lulz and laughter - a classic AAR about the green faction romping through England!

Why did nobody even bothered telling me about this -_- now I could not inform anybody who read my AAR to actually vote for me... I'm almost 99% sure Theodotius I is going to win (not that it matters but this is just pretty lame )

ah well will have to settle with the third place still fine with me

and don't blame on me to check the forums yesterday I (and i've seen other people too) had no acces to TW center due to some intern server error 500 whatever

E:TW's natives have developed a new "Ballistic Automatic Detection And Seeking System" to utterly annihilate any European that sets foot on their soil... That's BADASS for short!

eh if your AAR is racing in the competition, it's your job to keep an eye on the progress and the vote. The results were public and visible to everyone :hmmm:..

Considering the first three places are the ones with points.. wouldn't you assume there be some sort of tiebreaker? As for the server screwing up yesterday, considering that affected everyone surely it affects voting for both of you equally?

Besides, don't write yourself off yet.

ehm forgive me my insolence but i'm completely new in the world of AAR writing... all i wanted to do is write a nice story and enjoy the audience...

Edit: But sure why is this tiebreaker only 2 days (minus 1 day server error). That means the AAR with the most dedicated forum members is going to win... not the AAR that's actually the coolest/funnies/best

1. Nobody had access to the forum during those hours.
2. I can't be arsed to notify each contestant of each competition event.
3. Since no one was notified and no one had access to the forum temporarily, each contestant has the same chance to win.
4. As the title says it's sudden death, tie-breakers were always open for 2-3 days.

There's no need to get excited. Most AARs go on long enough to be eligible for several MAARCs. As long as you are still updating, you can continue entering the same AAR in future competitions.

It took me four attempts with two different AARs before I made the top three.

oh thanks! I might join next month if I still update my AAR

and to the rest: I understand your point.
It would be goddarn annoying to give like hundreds of contestants a message of this and that happened and to repeat that every month...

still... I hope anybody understand my point of view and also hope somebody sees that I'm extremely kind and the like, i'm pretty sure most others would've started a flamewar now.
But that's just me eh? I'm new here so I deserve to be ranted on.

Btw LlamaD what's up with the post "meet the internet"? I don't get it? Atleast I have a real life and don't spend 24 hours a day on the internet so I fail to keep up with these 2 days "sudden deaths". To many topics here for that!

Now keep in mind there should be a smily behind every sentence and u guys are all nice and helpfull

And as for number 3. : I noticed Theodotos I already saw this thread and put it in his AAR to have others vote for him but I didn't (cuz I didn't knew of it. It was pure luck I was reading his AAR). So it's kinda unfair isn't it?

That's just LlamaD.... that's... what he does... If you read his AAR and his responses to comments (or rather spam... as they failed to read the first page), you'll know what I mean.

Meant as Introduction. Apparantly unfamiliar beforehand. I could give a rather dull explanation why this is a popularity contest. Mustihave Doireallyneedto?

@pow-wow : not misquoted, perhaps out of context, deceiving and salty, but he actually wrote that
