Icon5 Computer crashes & restarts during battlesiege

My computer shuts down and restarts during any siege battle. Every time! I don't ever get an error message when it happens.

When I do a siege battle or people that I siege sally out to attack me, the battle loads normally. I can then place my units and start the battle but after 30 secs to even 10 minutes, my computer completely shuts down and restarts. When i play outside battles, there is no problem.

I am on XP and in the Stainless Steel mod.

    What is the problem here?

    Thank you very much!

Siege battles will overpower a lot of machines if you have everything on highest. Two suggestions: turn your settings down and try it, and try the SS forums.

You'll have to look for it but someone after the game was released put out a small minimod of reducing the walls from 2048x2048 to 512x512, I believe.
