Israeli settlers
An interesting short documentary on Israeli settlers (I think about 15 mins), please watch all of it before discussing.

Of particular note is the Israeli army using a bank managers home in the West Bank (supposedly sovereign) as an outlook post, simply because it's the highest point in a town. Some days they force the entire family to stay indoors, others allowing the children out to school. They use the families beds, and come and go as they please without invitation or request, usually in the middle of the night.
This is hardly the most heineous crime commited by Israel since its creation, but I think it sums up nicely their attitude towards the Palestinian people. Obstacles that will be clambered over, pushed aside, and in some cases destroyed if they stand in the way of the smallest of goals.
