Honestly dHRR .8 is my most anticipated mod. Everything looks so well thought out.

    Excellent work!

Don't quite understand the green territories though...

How does Sicily become a kingdom?

Also, will the Constable of a Spanish kingdom gain the same bonus in the provinces of that kingdom gain the same bonus as the King?

Finally, what happens if Portugal gain a kingship title for their FL without creating the kingdom of Portugal?

The green territories are the Muslim Taifas that were not considered part of one of the Iberian kingdoms. Save for the Algarve and Valencia, historically they became part of Castile, but mostly not before later in the 13th Century.

Ah yes, forgot that one: She becomes a kingdom when the FL is holding the title of a Count of Sicily (the generic faction leader title is that of a Duke of Apulia and Kalabria).

Also, will the Constable of a Spanish kingdom gain the same bonus in the provinces of that kingdom gain the same bonus as the King?
The boni of the officers are not tied to specific provinces, what allows you to use them for running conquered Taifas or other provinces too.

Finally, what happens if Portugal gain a kingship title for their FL without creating the kingdom of Portugal?
She cannot (save for the "free for all" royal titles Jerusalem, Sicily and Byzantium). Acquisition of Iberian royal title for Portugal is tied to have been become a kingdom before. On the other hand, it is rather unlikely for Portugal to acquire one of the others titles without going to war with Castile, what would be enough to become independent.

Congratulations, Good ideas you people have
And by being portuguese, the possibility of starting as a county seems very amusing. One question, in both images that you posted before the first count was named Raimundo, a fact that is true, but still the portuguese royal family starts with he´s cousin Henry. Both fought in the 1080s in the Iberian peninsula, marrying each to a daughter of Alfonso VI years later and receiving a dowry. Raimundo married first and controled Galiza and Portugal but after 1095 it´s Henry´s turn and he fathered the first king of Portugal, Afonso Henriques. You probably know all this, anyway it´s more logical for any portuguese to have Henry than Raimundo (he fathered Alfonso VII, Alfonso Vi grandson)

We have both in the Portugal family tree, but because Henrique de Borgonha would have been seriously under-age in 1080 he is only the faction heir, with Raimundo the faction leader.

when is 0.8 coming out? And me and a couple friends started a hotseat campaign and started it with console disabled, and after reading the features section we realized that it is "important" for the console to be enabled or else features will not work properly.... what exacty won't work properly with our campaign having the console disabled?

To copy the poster above -more or less. Approximately when can one expect an 0.8 version of this mod?

Not asking for a date or anything just wondering as I am considering starting up a campaign and wouldn't want to find that there is a new version of the mod before I am at turn 20.

I am sorry, but I don't know. We still have some problems with the strat graphics (trade resources) that I cannot solve because I cannot make 3D strat models. Someone is already working on it, but I cannot say how long it will take. With that being finished I think we can give the internal beta a try in public.

i conquered Bremen recently as Franconia but cant seem to get any titles appointed from wesfalia to my generals. even the clerical one. is there something wrong or is it that the title has special conditions?

No, there are no special rules there. You should have a Comes Westfalia and an Archiepsicopus Bremensis for recruited generals.

About Comes Westfala and the city of Bremen: in export_descr_ancillaries.txt I think that only Saxony can acquire the title:
one line in 'Condition EndedInSettlement' reads 'CharFactionType sachsen'.
I think that you get different titles while playing Saxony or as non-Saxony: Magdeburg gives Comes Ostfala as Saxony, but Dux Bruneswich as non-Saxony. Perhaps Bremen somehow didnt got a title as non-Saxony?

You are right. I thought we had made the Count of Westphalia available for everyone because this province is lacking a non-Saxon titles (the other have Braunschweig, Holstein and Thüringen); but it seems we didn't (I should have known, I had made them; seems I am getting old....)
