So I tried to add a region and game crashes and there is nothing on the logs. Have you guys reached the limit? I dunno if 199 is the region limit which is at the end of descr_region.

I wonder if you can change the region limit...
80 years is simply not enough to enjoy all of the fun in the world, and out of it...
Hardcoded things have been changed in the past. Plenty of times.
As for the Paladin, the battle with the Dragon isn't the danger, it's the battle in the heart that he must be wary of.
Maybe not by the community in Total War specifically, I mean, in general. Large gaming communities often have the fortune of attracting a few expert programmers who go beyond the limits. The Elder Scrolls modding community, as ridiculously massive as it is, only has 2 or 3 such people. It would be sweet if someone like that took up modding Total War. :-)

Lonck, your "avatar" freaked me out for a second. I was actually trying to kill the bug on my screen!
I agree with Cleit that truly experienced (and determined) programmers are often able to reverse engineer game code, and pull off what no one else can. OTOH, 200 regions seems like more than enough to me, so perhaps that's part of the reason no one is bothering. :hmmm:
I hoped CA would fix most annoying M2TW stuff (AI and limits) in Kingdoms... but they chose to create factions like Apache with 8 units in the roster instead...
Then there was a patch for Kingdoms and also I hoped CA would this time make an effort to improve the actual game. But they fixed only bugs in their minicampaigns and went to do ETW instead.
I'm still seriously disappointed...
If game creators actualy did what they were suppose to do or should do atleast half of the time, then we would have great games half of the time.
