I think I took too long -_-

Well I started the mod with the Templars, that was my first mistake I think Obviously they have very little territory compared to the other factions. So I tried to establish some breathing room but didn't want to conquer any of the bigger harder factions. So I went south and took down the rebels and their cities. I reached Jerusalem and stopped due to the Fatamid. So I sent my diplomant to come to an alliance agreement. Failing that I got angry and attacked them.

Now they were kind of hard to take out, but I managed and culminated by slaying their FL. Now I noticed I'm kind of half way through the campaign...

I've ONLY conquered the Fatamid and a bit of the rebels and it's already year 1150. I'm afraid I took too long because it says I have only around 200 turns left.

Did I move too slow? I don't want my campaign to end that fast...

The Templars are in an extremely hard position so I think you did quite well.

Start is always slow for templars dude and you have plenty of time to finish.

I always start really slow untill i can maintain about 4 full stacks. Conquer a region which then ussualy means i can support 8 stacks. then send 4 stacks in each direction and conquer 2 regions at once , then 4 , then 8.

8 stacks turns into 16 , 16 stacks turns into 32 etc. Once u get the ball rolling it only takes a small ammount of turns to take over the map.

I did this with my templar: Ally with the Seljuks

Fight a war of annahilation with the Fatamids. You should try to gain ground on them reach and every turn. That way, they should be beatable before turn 100 I'd guess.
