    Default Camera rumble

I've tried searching but haven't found anything, is there anyway the disable the camera shake effect when it's situated near firing gunpowder units? Seemed fun the first time but now gets in the way.

    Most probably. :/

I checked the video settings in-game but I can't find any which affect camera rumbling. The closest thing you could probably do is just not to go near enough an artillery/gunpowder unit while they're firing.

Though someone who mods may know if the setting can be changed via messing around in the game's files.

I've wondered about this too, and I fear that the camera rumble falls into that void known as "hardcoded Med2 aspects".

I also have put some thought into this and to be quite honest i think your hopeless. Ive tried game settings and actually skimmed through the program files and have yet to find any sign of it let alone how to make it stop.

It's not really that much of a bother, honestly. The only times I've noticed it is when I'm significantly close to an artillery/gunpowder unit but that's only when I want to check out the action up-close. Gaming-wise, however, it's very rare that I zoom in to such an extent as I'm not able to command properly if all I can see on my screen are a couple of units slugging it out. Reduces the lag too.

Ah well, like you say not really a big deal, only happens if you're zoomed in. Just more of an annoyance.
