    Default The big Family

    I present here my idea of "the big family". after 1000 test i have found the solution. from left to right you can see the leader, heir, familymember from bavaria - habsburg (austria) - hre, generals from bavaria - hre - habsburg and the captain as last. i think a great empire need more than one family

    what is your belief :hmmm: than +rep

    i edit the descr_characters with levels (10), edit descr_model_strat and other level for export_descr_character_traits (3). thats it
    on this way i can integrate much more familys, but i think its enough.

    Snice, any tips on how to get going with some basic scripting.
    I find some of the tuorials quite, overlapping.
    Any tools you would recommend?

    you can DOWNLOAD HERE i think thats a good basic. and you must accept many "start the game" with bad result its learning time!

    i need a trigger for transfused the "blood trait" (Blutlinien) bavaria to a adopted general, i have many test without effect.

    Different traits connected to the levels will allow you to do this. It's also how I created a king, heir, member of the royal family, general and captains in my mod.

    I also knew of this policy but when I edit the traits, my game always crashes...

    How do you actually change the strategy map model though? I've got as far as adding strat_models to descr_character and to descr_model_strat, but I don't know where you actually set which strat_model a given character uses.

    I know kingdoms does it with kings, and I assume something similar happens with priests upgrading, but I can't find what or where.

    I know there's a way to change battle map models; does this automatically change the strat_map models as well, and if so how?

    can you tell a little more about this mod please?

    for example will this change only the HRD family? or for every factions?
    and if a general from other faction joins your family will it work in same way?

    just give us more knowledge please

    hey guys,
    export_descr_character_traits, descr_model_strat and descr_character are the files you must add. for more models on strat you must give them traits with "level"s, every family needs "blood" traits and his own level. take a look to the kindom traits "Trait Factionheir and Trait Factionleader" and his level.

    For example - HRE have more Duchy of ..... with this mod you can bring Bavaria (a duchy of HRE) in game with the banner from HRE. Bavaria Generals are good in Government, Habsburg Generals (a duchy of HRE) are good Fighters (different Bloodline-Traits). And when you born in Bavaria - you saved your Generals better than the other

    Advantage you see more and different Skins in one Faction. And you can play with celebrity Familys - SEE HERE under Big Family. As Hungary you can play the Family Hunyadi

    I hope you understand what i mean and what this mod can do

    Ah... now I get it! The 'level' mentioned in faction heir/leader relates directly to the strat models defined in descr_character. Cheers!
