Default Is the battle of Talas out of the question?

The battle of Talas took place very far east. It would be too much of a pain to expand the map that far, right?
I guess you'd have to create a few Buddist regions in Central Asia and construct a few Tang dynasty troops. That would be too much. :hmmm:

For any who are interested by my FF on occurrences in Rhun and beyond; I have begun a new project (not because the old one is finished, just opening more room for ideas) about one of the minor characters, Rankal. It is in the Third Age AAR index and here is the link http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=376994

From what I've heard from the creators of the mod, expanding east is not even remotely on their mind for the next release. they have too much work to do with the current factions, and since this is multi-era, it is more difficult to just throw in some new units.

you'd have to hear it from their mouths, though, but i'd guess no to expanding east, and no to the battle of talas.

    Okay, I understand.
Am I the only person obsessed with the Middle East?
I'm a white dude with a Christian background. Why do I love the Middle East so much?

The next release will feature a major Muslim reskin. There are still some vanilla skins, but not many.

I guess ui should probably do a Muslim preview....

As far as extending the map east, if this happens, it will be a long way off.

    Welcome Panzer42. :hmmm:
I think BC isn't so unknown as you think. The problem is the whole mod has a "copyright" by the team and in the worst case 119 year ends the copyright for BC but i am not sure it is still needed then.
