CANT PLAY AMERICAS CUSTOM

after installing kingdoms the game would work very smoothly. After some time, for some reason I cant play custom battles or in game battles at all. The game would stop and say "there is an error and Medieval II Total War will be shuting down now". I tried a repetitive reistallation process and it still wont work, neither patches or updates. WTF am I missing here

Maybe viruses could be your problem my comp was getting slow so i did a virus chek and now its faster again

I doubt viruses cuz I already updated my av files its just i cant fight battle maps

To unpack all the game's data files, simply run unpack_all.bat - this will take a while, so be warned. After the program's finished, open your data directory (inside your MTW2 directory) and delete or rename descr_geography_new.db and descr_geography_new.txt (this is important - if you don't do it, your game won't run)
