Default Move character cheat with surnames

How do you get to work with a name like Prince Rufus,(example)

rufus is his sole name, there is no last name. there are similar things like in the vanilla kingdoms, the main danish line has only first names

you need to know the family name, best place to find it is the starting princess

    then you use move_character "Rufus <Family name here>" xxx,yyy

or move rufus on the field (and selecting him) and press

    move_character "this" X,Y

very usefull with long names with titles... Like O'Connel MacChada the holy Crusader or something like that

    and I believe
    move_character "Rufus" X,Y is sufficient

it dosen't work with "this" : i tried it. neither with only the first name for kings and princes
it works only with 1 name for those who have titles, like Henry the Bastard you just type move_character Henry

"this" works... only u must have the character selected and the character must be in the open (not in a settlement).

I believe the correct formula would be

    move_character this X,Y (no ")

hmm I fired up a SS campaign as the byzzies and ur correct, the "this" doesn't work... In Thera it doesn't work either. So I must've mistaken. the "this" cheat doesn't work then (haven't checked any other mods or Vanilla, however I do have DLV, Kingdoms (all 4), Darthmod, the long road, Lands to conquer, Retrofit and Custom campaign mod as well as Renaissance and English Civil war... maybe it is in any of those )

+ rep to you for being that stubborn

    some names just don't work
like names such as "Henry du German" would be impossible to move (i don't know why, the game must not like them)
let's say you have a merchant by the name of Gustav Vasa
you would show_curorstat, and then type move_character "Gustav Vasa" X,Y
i never thought the "this" thing worked
EDIT: who are you trying to move, what is there name, and where do you want to move them? we'll be able to help you if you give us some info

The hardest has to be the Mongol and Mayan, not sure about other Native American names, like:

    move_character "Zhen_Jin of_the_Tartars" x,y

I have seen this name, or something similar in the Teutonic Campaign. I moved him around just to test how to type his name, if I need to do something later to someone with similar long names again. Like the Mayan names, "xxx_yyy of_here", been to long since I saw them.

My observation/testing, which ever you want to call them, the game only allow space between names once in one name, either "Gustva Vasa" or right before the "of" or what ever Muslim or Spanish use, for second part of the name. You have to use _ for most times, or - for the some Muslim ones.
Riddle me this, riddle me that:
    Who was my first commander?
How many of me are active right now?
And who drank a Delacourt '27 when received the commandership of me?

If you are talking about Prince Rufus for the English heir, or what "still don't work?" And what was did the rejection say?

If he has a surname prefix then you have to do it with his name as "Firstname von_Lastname" and the von must be lowercase.
