    Default Socialism in the USA

American football is one of the most socialist organizations I can think of.
    1. Revenue is shared
    2. There is a salary cap
    3. It is set up so the worst teams get the biggest help
How can you stand it you hate the idea of a welfare state but that is what the NFL is?

The NFL chose that setup, it was not forced on them.

In every anglo american forums I read, I come across this "socialism phobia". Every kind of welfare is regarded "socialism". My goodness, @those americans that have the impression I could refer to them by stating this:
Come to europe, see our standart of living, see healthcare that works, see protection against jobloss and then go back to the US and try to teach your fellas. My goodness- was Mc Carthy that successful?

BTW: Europe is going down aswell due to the crisis, so u better hurry if u wanna see what a real "state" is about (P.S.: No, it is not about spending 1trillion dollars a year for military toys and unethical wars).

    Sheesh.

just a quick point about health care systems in the UK and USA in 2002 the UK spent per capita 2160 dollars and the USA 5274 dollars almost 3 times as much and for this extra expenditure (not including insurance I think) you get a child mortally rate per 1000 of 8 compared to the UK with 6

and a life expediency 2 years less

There is properly more I can find. But you pay more with your taxes and then pay again with insurance and you think the UK system is wrong?

oh and the USA spends 15% of it GDP and the UK just 8% if you don't believe me look on the WHO site http://www.who.int/globalatlas/dataQuery/default.asp

Excuse the poor English it has been a long day

Cuba is all-out communist. Not socialist.

Besides, that regime is going to fall in the near future and become more moderate.

Didn't the owner of the Cleavland Browns say that the NFL consisted of a bunch of Socialists who voted Republican?

Football is gay. I mean American football. Not the real football.

Oh go away. The name of your sport is soccer and it isn't relevant to the discussion. (J/k)

Lol, but in all seriousness, I don't really care either way. Whatever a private organization does with its revenue shouldn't really matter that much unless it affects us in some way.
