Problem with patch 1.3-1.5

Greetings.

I've recently patched my M2TW to 1.3, installed Kingdoms, then patched it to 1.5. However, I now get a CTD whenever I try to load a battle in M2TW. I'm able to get to the part where the deployment screen comes up but then it CTDs a second later. Kingdoms itself is unaffected as I was able to start up a quick battle just a few minutes ago.

For some strange reason as well, I'm unable to edit any file in my M2TW folder so I can't edit the preference.cfg file to make it spit out an error log (I can't even edit descr_strat to unlock factions ).

EDIT: Managed to solve this by digging through support threads on SEGA's support forum. Turns out that I forgot to delete the two files mentioned in the unpacker readme after I unpacked.
