    Captains & Commanders - November MMX


    Preview






    Time
    Weekly matches
    Sundays, Mondays (CST -5 GMT)
    Open to all comers


    Registration
    To register simply list your top three preferred factions, choose an available place on either team I or team II and state your choice of troop type. Example Archers, Footmen, Horsemen, Spearmen. The tournament will be fought over gamespy


    Rules
    1. 10k Florins
    2. Flat Plains / Clear / Midday (Initial Round 1)
    3. Winners choose map and era (After round 1)
    4. Best 2 of 3 matches will determine winners (no team switching, empty slots the exception)
    5. Teams must choose a faction
    6. 1 General's bodyguard maximum
    7. Each player selects a class of troops for their army, plus one General unit of their choice
    8. 7 minutes grace (no rush) as this will allow time for formation of armies


    Again, winners get choice of map and era each victorious round.

    Once the battle is concluded, screenshots will be posted along with the replay file for download.

    *** 10k will be maximum starting florins per player.

    Damn, I'd be up for an M2 tournament, but 7 people might be a tall order.
    Anyway:

    Edit: actually if we get at least 6 we can still play these rules, otherwise we will have to change them. However we can always recruit from the lobby.

    This is intersting alright. I'm in.......since this kind of game would take forever to organize in the lobby alone

    Ok time to bump this. The OP is updated, round 1 is set for the first weekend in November.

    Since it's been a while, please update your registration and I'll start filling slots.

    You can switch teams, this isn't set in stone so if we miss a few players we'll have to recruit online.

    We can decide the starting era here. Once the first match is won the winners can pick era, map and time of day.

    I don't know. Which era is consider standard?
    I normally go high period but some may disagree
