What's the Advantage in Assassinating Captains?

Haven't tried assassinating captians, but as I understand it if you kill one he'll simply be replaced. So what's the point in going after them?

It might lower the morale for the army for the next turn? Remember it was something like that in the original M:TW..

not sure if it affects the enemy, but killing a captain would be an easy way to train your assassins.

By the way, I just think assassins are the funniest characters in this game... I mean they're so clumsy and they're big guys wearing gladiator outfits and they just whack people in the head with this big bat... I mean c'mon aren't assassins supposed to be subtle...

And they have all this animation stuff during a hit attempt but if they fail their targets just don't give a damn and go through their usual business for the day...

I like to consistantly attack Captains then after around 20 of them you can start going after the bigger fish lol.

personally i like to leave a line of dead captains on my route to the main target. keeps the killers hand in

usually the only reasons i kill captians is to level up my assasins so they can elimenate higher ranked targets, such as generals.

not sure but it might lower the troops morale if their leaders keep getting killed turn after turn.

No effect on troop morale. Just leveling up assassins.

Just levels assassins not to mention its pretty funny when you glitch it. save before trying this.
Make an assassin target a general/captain then bribe the selected captain/general and let him get assassinated. Once I ended up being at war with myself...

I do it all the time to improve assassin stats which is vital if you want them to take out generals. A good assassin is alot of fun to use.

M2TW assassinations are cooler though

This seriously works?? Wow, that's a pretty funny glitch if you can go to war with yourself

its for leveling assassins,if you do not level assassin on them,they wont gain experience to accumualte enough skill to kill more high profile targets
