It's only been a little over ten or so days since Obama's inauguration, but then again, a lot has changed in those days since.

I would hardly rate Obama as being perfect by anyone's standards. I rated 71-80

I can't argue with that. America needs a man willing to do the right thing in office, even if it means that the majority does not always agree with him. Here's to hoping Obama will actually deliver his promises and go down in history as one of the great Presidents.

So a former senator, self-made millionaire, constitutional scholar, and first president who is not an old white man is just another "celebrity"? Ok.

I'd peg my approval rating at 70 percent. There are things I like, and things I don't like in his current policy. I am worried that some of the more corrupt members of the Clinton administration have already wormed their way into his administration. I'm also feeling mixed on the big bailout. On one hand, I think we really need to invest in our education system and infrastructure. On the other, I could see the pork spiraling out of control very quickly.

He made a good choice there. He made it so the oldies cant say he isnt experianced. I am mainly 50%. He may do well he may not...I have yet to make any huge judgements

I really did note your comment on the Gallup polling though. I almost posted a reply that the Gallop poll is just as silly as these threads.

If we take this stuff seriously, why do you suppose the politicians follow the polls before taking any actions on governing? I want my politicians to run on values and ideas. The election is the only poll that counts. Once in office, it would be nice if they would do their job to the best of their abilities. to the polls.
