Default Medieval 2 total war voices

I wonder if it is possible to listen to Medieval 2 voice acting, you know the voices of the campaign map, but most of all the pre-battle speeches. I've discovered the Voice3 file which seems to contain what i'm looking for, but the thing is the voices are a little.. sped up.. anyway if it doesn't work, is there a way to get the subtitles of the speeches and such? please i really want to know what they say in the game.

Well you can turn the subtitles on under the sound menu in game. That will display them at the bottom of the screen when a general is giving a speech.

I know, but that won't work for what i want... i mean what i intended was to have them registered somehow, unless you are suggesting that i should do that myself

I'm not sure what you mean by registered?

You know like written... say a file withing the game folder that when opened would have all the dialogs written on it... like wordpad.that's what im talking about, or a sound file where you can listen to it.

Technically if you unpack your game, in the data/text folder there is a .bin file called prebattle_speeches_subtitles which probably contains what you need (I've never checked it out myself). Then you'd have to use alpaca's .strings.bin converter to unpack it...

You must have made an error when unpacking or moved something that shouldn't be moved

Try asking in the tech help thread and see if someone there could help you, make sure you mention exactly what you did and it may be reversible/fixable.

    Good luck.
