    Default Dang it...

I wanted to play this mod because it looks great.
But also because I wanted to play a mod that won't crash.
I assumed since DM doesn't change so much it will be stabe.

    But no there.
In my first campaign I get a CTD after beating Pyrrhus and capturing Tarentum. (Talking about the roman campaign.)
Then I reinstall, and after a few turns the game crashes after hitting end turn.
And that seems to happen a lot.

I don't tink I did any install errors. And I tryed a few reinstalls.

certainly you are doing something wrong. i cannot explain what is going on in your case, but i have finished the game with many factions and i never faced a crash to desktop. i wonder why in my case it works perfectly

    Yeah. I wonder too.
Maybe it has something to do to do with my RTW versin. But I dont have gold.
But there isn't soo much to do wrong about the insallation and my PC plays many other mods well.

    Its really strange. ):

    Default Not any more

    Thanks for that message.
I will try that if any more problems occur.

Since my third reinstall it seems to work better.
I've played for about an hour with no problems.

I play the roman campaign on H/H.
I've managed to take 5 regions in Italy, getting the senate mission money.
Unfortunately completely ignorng Pyrrhus in the south.
The greeks shipped in another stack, including Spartans.
Now the greeks attacked and managed to take Cannae, and the Gauls came and took Etruria.
But I will be able to take Etruria back next turn, and I have beaten all serious rebel opposition in Rhegium.
Im 50 000 in debt, and I'm not loosing any more money, even if I still have most of my two large armies.
It will be hard to get Tarentum.

Another Question: What's with the unrest?
There's like 45 points of it, even in Rome and regions that don't border anyone else.
And regions, that I had from the beginning.

Does it go away? Doesn't look that way like to me.

Unrest in your settlements ist caused by enemy spys. Try to send your own spy into the citys with unrest to throw the enemy out. You can cause unrest in enemy cities too by sending in your spys.

Oh, I didn't even know that.
    I don't think that's it.
All cities in the roman campaign have enemy spies in them?

Is there some sort of base-unrest value in DM?

just play the provincal campaign or imperial one, no problems there...
Rome: Total War 2 Then make nr. 3 And continue until it's perfect Rome: Total War 1000
