    Does anyone know how I can replace the blue welcome screen with a custom made image?

    I used bootskin in the past to replace the boot screen...

    Yep, it's Bootskin or Windowblinds you're wanting. They've all sorts of stuff to pimp your PC...but it can be a memory hog.
