Why wouldn't you want to live in a multi-cultural society?

I never hear people spouting about how great it is, I hear the opposite. It isn't necessarily that you encourage it, but that you tolerate it

Actually it would be very beatifull. Thinking about the old days....Armenian/Greeks Christians, Jews, Turks+some Europeans who were interested in Ottoman empire all living together. It was pretty cool unitl wars.
Still I love international areas a lot. Talking with foreigners, people of different cultures and living with them.
"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

If I knew why you thought living in a monocultural society would be better only then could I answer the question.

honestly I've just come to learn that it's not for everyone... and certainly not for me.

I just don't like people who live in my country for 20 years without learning the language, who hate my country and its people. People are becoming more and more cynical, depression is on the rise and I don't think it's a coincidence.

My personal experience is that people nowadays constantly "wear a mask". On the outside they praise multiculturalism, interracial sex and whatever, but when you get under the mask you realize it was all just a front. They don't really feel that way. This is especially true for pro-multiculturalism politicians who live in sheltered communities, far away from immigrants themselves.

It's like one big ting trance that all people have been put under. I just don't like the two-facedness about it.

Perhaps you should read the papers, rich bankers and speculators have ripped off the entire planet, leaving us all poorer. I can't blame foreigners or the dog for this one.

You personally know politicians, which ones?

At the most basic of levels the presence of foreigners is a consequence of trade and commerce, without which many societies would remain in the dark ages. Inter-racial sex?, what is wrong with that? The whole point of having 2 genders is so one can procreate with someone whose genes are entirely different to your own. That is the entire point of the exercise, not sleeping with one's kin. I take it that you do not reproduce by budding. all a front ? Then why do half of the UK's Afro- Carribean adult population have white partners?

I think you are merely transferring your contempt for foreigners on others so as to construct another one of these tossfests.

I don't see why people having different cultures within a society is a bad thing, as long as they're not segregated then you have issues.
