Did you see what our lovely PM did there? Is that how a person should talk in a diplomatic area. That is what happens when a high school graduate is PM.
any predicitions on future relations of Israel and Turkey? I was happy about Israeli girls visiting our coasts in summer

"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

In a place he should be giving a formal speech, he talked like a guy on the street getting mad at Israel.

He has a pair of balls. He is not afraid to talk about reality.

From an early talk of him : "They are saying my words are harsh towards to Israel. Probably my words are not harsher than phosporous bombs."

Erdogan was an idiot, way to ruin relation with Israel, and make an embarassing scene. Not to mention that leaders are in Davos to talk about the economy, rushing away after this want help Turkey i think.
But probably that was an electoral spot to show turkish people that he care about "palestinian brothers" and so on. MEH.

Pretty much...his popularity will double.....the only reason his party gets votes is his attitude. People simply love his direct/manly talking. He is an idiot anyways.....but a popular idiot.

But from what I see on media, they are going to accuse moderator because of the whole issue...after all it would be silly to destroy relations with Israel for such a thing.

It seems you are right. A huge crowd in Istanbul airport is waiting his return-plane. With chants and waving flags. I am watching it at TV live.

    A man with balls.

    VIVA ERDOGAN!

The only way the Arabs can ever dream of destroying Israel is if they manage to get a help from Turkey.

You actually support further destruction of human life? Have the recent events in Gaza not shown you how absolutely stupid this conflict is, as a result of both sides?

This was a Davos World Economic Forumnot at a Palestinian-Israeli peace conference. Whether he was right or wrong has nothing to do with the situation. I cannot stress that enough. As the face of Turkey, he should grow up and show some professionalism. His actions regrettably have done nothing to further the Palestinian cause, I can assure you. Not that it's harmed it either.

The only thing that has suffered in this whole affair is Ergodan's self respect.
LOL he received a hero's welcome.

Undoubtedly the best quote by an Istanbul resident, here's a snippet of it:
"This showed the power of Turks."

And as long as Israel exists, it will reoccur again and again and again. So lets just destroy the source of the demon.

Yes it has. It has further grabbed the attention of Turks at home that Israel is the enemy which must be obliterated.

:hmmm: Your rhetoric sounds familiar. Oh, I know! It's the same kind that has precipitated genocidal massacres around the world!

Get real. You know Israel won't be destroyed (BTW demons? Come on. Cut that out. This is the 21st century. Besides, they ain't got nothing on the Great Satan). Well, at least without atrocious casualties for everyone involved.

Now both sides are guilty of some egregious stuff. I would say that Hamas' main goal, the destruction of Israel, which includes its inhabitants, is far worse than any idea the Israelis have in mind. However, the Israelis have much greater capabilities. And yes they have abused them. But don't harbor any fantasy that anything will be solved by the destruction of either side. Sure, it would be nice for that part of the world to disappear (I don't mean the inhabitants dying). But if anything catastrophic were to happen there, you can count your ass that there will be a hell of a domino effect.

    And we're drifting off topic.

    Such as by Israel.

Not in the near future, yes. But the sooner the better.

Oh please, this is not true. Its no truer than saying Israel's main goal is the destruction of Syria, Lebanon and Jordan for the creation of Greater Israel.

for the first time I'd agree with you.....but things work much different in Turkey. If you ban the party their popularity would 2345235times stronger. People always vote for those who had troubles
