Family member question

Hi there, i used to play RTW a lot, and have recently come back. I have a question!

If my family members cavalry goes in to fight, and he loses some of his units, how does he get them back? I thought that they used to come back automatically over time, but am now wondering if i need to go to a stables that can make his equivalent, and get them to boost his numbers?

As far as I know, they do come back over time. It sometimes takes a few turns depending on how many soldiers in the unit you lost, but they always seem to come back for me (especially if you are victorious in battle; if you're constantly losing battles with that general, he might not get his horsemen back, but I'm not sure).

Ah okey, thanks I'm playing the EB addon if that'll affect it at all. My general has been doing some nice fighting but has lost many men, (only 2 left) and i couldn't find a place to retrain him, and got a tad worried =)

Yeah the men come back but they come back faster if u have the general not fight in battles for a few turns. If u r constantly fighting they will come back slower.
