Hi I installed Medieval total war 2 on my vista pc and the campain works but when im about to start a battle the loading bar at the buttom is complte but then suddently it never loads and the program stops reponding wat so i do ?

Lower your graphics settings to minimum and make campaign and battle settings the same, then try it.

That says you didn't. What are your computer specs? Do you have all your drivers up to date including Microsoft's?

Are you playing a mod? If so, is it all battles or just siege battles (boiling oil, walls - irishron)

Like trying to pull off a cavalry charge in the forest. Trees that close together can be almost as bad as walls.

My PC spec are update for the game to run smooth, no mod what im saying when I start a new campain my first battle then you get the loading screen before the battle starts when the bar at the bottom is loaded nothing happens after the screen just takes like that so I press CTR + ALT + del and the task manger says the program not responding.

You have to unpack to find those two files. If you didn't unpack, don't worry about it.
