    Default Royal blood.

Personally I take my ROYAL family serious with royal blood.
If I do accept adoption its under very strict circumstances,
I wanted to know if i'm the only one or others than me took this seriously?

I almost died earlier today in A Byzantine campaign when I migrated and took my 4 generals to Dublin, when I got there I found A village of town militia, Gallogchia, and Irish kerns....The Byzantines are my favorite
faction in terms of general bodygaurd strength. As an Orthedox faction I expected them on my first campaign to be like Russia with Middle Eastern style with high combat and low charge skill. Instead I was surprised.

They are A mixture of European and Middle Eastern factions.....
with not only heavy human protection but cavelry protection for stability.
In the battle however 3 of my 4 generals were sloughtered until my Prince was terribly scarred and named King with no heir until his 2 brothers that were born back in Constantinople with A 20 year difference
    came to age.

I love keeping royal blood and only except noble generals that are young and have high qualities and positive retinues. If you feel the need to keep royal bloodline going reply and tell why.

Playing on the Moors, I had originally though I would use 3 generals from my royal blood to attack the Spanish and Portuguese, while another one conquered Timbuktu and surrounding African settlements, but the Spanish beat me to my invasion of the Iberian Peninsula, they kept attacking with a full stack to my quarter stack of 4 weakened spear men, 1 Crossbow, 2 weakened town militia and a General at Cordoba, yet for some reason I seemed to win the "herioc victory" all the time and my genreal stats went up so far, he was named Nayuhha the Saint, I got him married after that and every single one of his sons that I play with are called someitnhg like The Great, The Honorable, TheChilvalrous or the Saint, even if i barely use them, now thats a bloodline i like to keep.

Depends on the campaign I am playing. If I want to keep the family small and pure then I will not adopt or accept man of the hour generals. Other times when I am steamrolling the world I take all the generals I can get, they are useful after all.

    No, I always accept adoptions.

Though that might explain why my King is a good-for-nothing barfly.

You don't even take into consideration the upkeep to fuel your generals bodygaurd wich is the most expensive unit btw wich you can't disband.....
