britannia campaign need help

I play as England , and already eliminated Wales faction. now I'm focusing to conquer the Ireland and scot.

The problems are Scot have made the alliance with Ireland , and Dublin which I have just sacked ,(but could not control the public order and after 3 turn , Dublin turned out to be new faction named " BARON" ) all of factions (scott , Ireland, Baron) have made alliance and now they are going to eliminate me.

should I repel the scot first and leave the Ireland & Baron ,and why the rebel in Dublin turn out to be BARON faction with large army inside their castle. It suppose to be rebel faction ,

The Baron's Alliance is an emergant faction, counter-England.

You should at first get the main island (being England/Scotland/Wales/Norway starting position). I reckon you'd retreat from Ireland, and focus on Scotland and Norway first.

Destruction of Barons' Alliance isn't the only way. In my Wales campaign Barons' Alliance has betrayed me and attacked my city, though we were allied. The weirdest thing is, the next turn they allied with England. So you can just try to ceasefire with them.

I prefer to leave the Scots and Danes well alone and concentrate on Wales and then Ireland.

Frogbestegg's guide is a fantastic help.

At the start you can't hope to fight on more than two fronts so swallow your pride and retreat from Ireland until Wales is yours.

Ireland will prove to be an easy conquest when taken alone.

The Scots and Danes will pick a fight with you at some point, but by then you'll have a huge economic base to go after them, which'll be made even easier by the inevitable war/truce/war that'll go on between them.

As for the Barons Alliance, again, so long as you're not already committed to a multi-front war, should be easy enough.

for me it was easy. Allie up with norway (since theyre at war with the scots anyway and plus they are a incredibly strong faction), go after scotland THEN norway so that you can have the whole island. As this is happening build a navy to repel irish and baron raids. Once you feel that you are ready, ship yer armies over the isle of man and destroy the remaining factions

I would just leave Ireland and build a big naval fleet to hold of the Irish in the channel separating the islands to keep them from coming to the main island while you tackle Scotland.
I'd keep a strong army in the castles on the Welsh coast incase the Irish make it past your naval blockade.
Also try sending like two fleets to northern Scotland and take some of their castles or cities like Aberdeen and Inverness. Just to kinda surround them.

And yeah become strong friends with Norway.

yea I wouldnt recocmend trying to take irland until norway and scot. are dispatched, I was in the exact position as you, ended up bankrupt for making to many armies from trying to defend / invade both fronts...Its just a BAD a idea
