    Default Unit Create Cheat

THere's a cheat I hear from the game that you can create units (Ex: Longbowmen "London" 2 9 3 3)

The problem is that none of the names work, for an example if I try to make Imperial_Knights 5 9 3 3 it won't create it
The only unit I had the success to create is Elephants
Is it the writing that is the problem?
I hardly ever use this cheat but does it work?

The problem is that some units have a different name in game compared to the unit's in under the descre_unit. You'll have to look in that file to find the names of units you can't create by using the in-game name. Ex: Retinue Longbowmen is "Dismounted Longbowmen". For Imperial Knights try create_unit <city> "Imperial Knights" 5 9 9 9. Always try "" with units that have more than one word in their names. You can also create units that do not belong to your faction. Ex: create_unit <city> "Varangian Guard" 5 9 9 9. The unit card will display the peasant pic from RTW, but during battles they will be displayed correctly. Use this as a guide http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downl...do=file&id=984.

    create_unit City "Imperial Knights" 5 9 3 3
    create_unit "City With More Names" "Imperial Knights" 5 9 3 3
some units are also with different names from the ones in game
eg. Retinue Longbowmen = Dismounted Longbowmen
Men at Arms = Italian MAA etc. -> use export_descr_unit in the data folder to find the names for units you can't create
    same aplyes for move character
    move_character Henry xxx,yyy
    move_character "Henry Parkinson" xxx,yyy
    move_character "Henry de_Paynes" xxx,yyy
in principle when units/characters/cities have 2 names you must put ""

also for elefants you dont need to go through the create_unit Elephant: just type madras

Sorry try this link http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=75092 or this http://m2tw.warlore.org/units/

But to make it really easy http://www.scribd.com/doc/269987/units2 contains the unit ID's needed to creat units in game. Remember multiname units need to have quotes. ex create_unit <city or general's name> "Varangian Guard" 5 9 9 9. The list is for vanilla units.

I used to use the create unit cheat to compare units such as Varangian Guard vs Huscarls vs Norse Axemen. Then I found the FAUST.
