1. Play all battles yourself.
2. Don't make unnecessary units.
3. Don't waste your time on sieging settlements!

I know that. i just played with sassanids this time because i am persian!
Last time i played the game with western empire, as i can remember, i finished it in 13 turns. At that time i had finished with sassanids in 11 turns. About 4 years ago i think

It's very easy to play as Sassanids.With WRE on vh/vh I completed campagn in 7 turns.

What if i finish campaign with western empire in less than 7 turns?
You just need to get 9 new states playing with them, but what i did was capturing 15 new settlements until 7th turn with sassanids! (20 totally)
i just wasted 2 turns waiting for fleets to come!

I think that's pretty fast.
Is it even fun to just rush the game so much?
would not enjoy that.

good job! But I like the slow way cuz' then you see your empire and its enemies develop.
