Default Dems Launch Online Petition Against Rush Limbaugh

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/firs...rush-limbaugh/

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition for readers to express their outrage at Rush Limbaugh for saying he wanted President Obama to fail, CNSNews.com reported.
"If I wanted Obama to succeed, I'd be happy the Republicans have laid down," Limbaugh said last week. "I don't want this to work. So I'm thinking of replying to this guy, say 'okay, I'll send you a response, but I don't need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails'."
The Committee's petition includes a sound bite of the radio host's comments.
The Republican National Committee did not return calls for comment on the petition.
Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill Friday that they need to quit listening to Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.
"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.
One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.
On Monday, Limbaugh shot back at Obama, opening his show by saying, "I'm the man you should not be listening, according to President Obama."
"I think [Obama] wants me to fail," Limbaugh said on the show. "He's more frightened of me than he is of John Boehner, which doesn't say much for our party."

Sigh....... You've got to be kidding me.

If I saw that guy I'd give him a good kick in the nuts. Maybe that will shrink his megalomania complex.

Who Rush? You'd do that because he had different political views?

No, just because he's that annoying. I'm not a Democrat. I'd probably do the same to Anne Coulter. Maybe Michael Moore too with that Canadian accent thingie.

Isn't there a difference between stating your views and spreading misinformation as the truth?

Rush Limbaugh is a rich spoiled kid, who failed in school, got daddy to get him a radio job, became a junkie and like most junkies, he's a liar. --

And that's the point -- either the man is too high to know what he's saying, he's stupid or he is a liar. But when you are factually wrong more than half the time, one of the those answers is the right one.

In some quarters his factual accuracy has been rated lower than 40% by the Sullivan Group -- the very Group he hires to monitor the show.

And besides being wrong most of the time, he's a source of venomous hatred. Limbaugh is one of the architects of the calamity of American Politics -- he helped reduce it to a bunch of half-witted businessmen treating the welfare of the nation and the political process the same way they would treat a bid to sell drill bits at Home Depot. If we survive, Limbaugh's name will find it's place along side Joe McCarthy's in American History Books.

but none of that's the point.

Move-on is doing the same thing to Limbaugh that the GOP has been doing to every one they don't like for the past 30 years. The dems finally realized that the average American wants to vent just as much as the Christian right -- and more over, there are more people who don't like Limbaugh than there are members of the Christian right -- and it's taking a page directly out of Rove's play book -- which is why Move-on is a hypocritical as Limbaugh.

Come now good sir, aren't you the champion of free speech?

Rush is no more accurate or misinformed than any other radio or television talking head. They are both singing the song their viewers/listeners want to hear. You think he's any more of a viper than the morning news channel commentators or CNN? Come now, I KNOW you are smarter than that.

I have no love for Limbaugh or his love-child O'Reilly, their polemics amount to little more than rousing sermons without substance than anything else, but they serve as a nice counterbalance to the lefty news radio and television the casual American is spoon-fed every day. Larry King, Barbara Walters, the entire crew of 60 minutes, Michael Moore (I mean seriously), the list is quite long and filled with lack of journalistic integrity and axe-grinding. I find it hilarious that the last two democrats that got in the house immediately started the rallying cry for silencing the opposition. It happened to Rush in Clintons first time, no surprise that it is happening again.

Limbaugh is not the architect of any American political disaster. That can be placed squarely at the feet of our leadership for the last 100 or so years. The explosion of federalism, judicial activism, and a two-party system that gives really no choice at all are key to the disaster. Blaming it on Limbaugh is like blaming the Pinto for the failure of the American automotive industry. It's merely a symptom of the disaster, not a root cause.

If you think Move-on is without it's bias, you are kidding yourself.
To be governed is to be watched, inspected, directed, numbered, regulated, enrolled, indoctrinated, controlled, checked, estimated, valued, censured, and commanded, by creatures who have neither the right, wisdom, nor virtue to do so. To be governed is to be at every operation, at every transaction noted, registered, taxed, measured, numbered, assessed, licensed, admonished, reformed, corrected, and punished. It is, under pretext of public utility, and in the name of the general interest, to be placed under contribution, drilled, fleeced, exploited, monopolized, extorted, and robbed; then, at the slightest resistance, to be repressed, fined, vilified, harassed, abused, disarmed, choked, imprisoned, judged, condemned, shot, deported, sacrificed, sold, and betrayed; and to crown all, mocked, ridiculed, derided, outraged, and dishonored. -Pierre-Joseph Proudhon

Obama isn't the one trying to get people to sign the petition. I doubt he cares.

This is great for Limbaugh. The demonrat party is giving him free publicity. They are going to drive people to listen to his show.
As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured and raped over 100 times. I was called a “white slag” and “white ****” as they beat me.

I used to listen to him... He straight up LIES too much for normal people to listen to him too much. So if the dems drive people to listen to him; they're essentially creating more people who won't like him.

My Lord knows very little about Mr. Limbaugh, but from what he's seen the man is a bit too obnoxious to have a place in my Lord's empire. My Lord suspects Mr. Limbaugh will speak out against him in his rise to power.

    What's wrong with that?

It effectively exposes the left for what they are, and gives a few good laughs along the way.
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. - James Madison

Does Olberman expose the right for what they are, all while giving a few good laughs along the way?
