OK so here I'm making a poll to do a bit of brainstorming. I would like to know what you members would like to have added to the Great Information Thread (Guide, Tips and Hint,etc) to make this guide alot better.

If one of you would like to contribute to it PM me with whatever you did (Be sure that you are the one that did it) If it's good I will add it to the thread with the proper credit givin to you.

i would say something along the lines of religion. When I first played I had no idea what to do with my priests except sit them in my settlements (started as england) and keep all my areas at 100%. But I never sent any out to other areas (islam, ortho., etc.) to get their piety up. In my second game when I did that, I had so many priest that within about 40-50 turns I had at least half the cardinals for the rest of the game.

I think it is mostly over looked in respects of the game when it is one of the most important aspects of the game.

What about more city management, because I dont understand Squalor and its crippling some of my settlements

Squalor comes from your population. You can get rid of it by getting rid of your population but this will stall your population growth and set you back somewhat. There are however ways to control the effects of squalor.

1. Build city improves and happiness buildings like town halls, town watch, churches that sort of thing.
2. Garrison the city with more troops to gain a public order benefit and lower the unrest from squalor and other factors.
3. Boost your trade and build farm improvements, these can slow down squalor and keep the population growing nicely.
4. Make sure you have a chivalrous governor installed in the settlement, these guys are like public order powerhouses and will ensure your city never revolts from squalor or any other unrest.

On topic: Guides about specific battle strategies or agents would be my vote.

I prefer a dread lord as fear works even more.

And back to topic:
I vote for Battle Tactics, siege battles are kicking my ass and I like fighting on walls trying to hold off the enemy. Seriously, nothing makes my day shine brighter when I see a few Broken Lances trying to get through a broken gate while being burned by the cooking oil from the gate house.

I voted for infantry. I feel i don't get the most out of different types of infantry (use of light infantry instead of heavy infantry etc.). One question though.. Mounted cavalry.. Is that a dude sittin' on a horse that is sittin' on a horse?
