Decision time
I'm at a point in my campaign where it's time to invade Greece.
I'm trying to decide which province to invade....don't know the names off the top of my head, but here's the question.
One province on the coast was owned by Macedon, but now the Greeks have it. If I take that from the Greeks, will Macedon start sending stacks at me?
I really don't want to fight both Mac and Greece.

Re: Decision time
Whenever you usually neighbour someone who are you at war at, they will attack you. If I may suggest, invade from south and try to take Sparta and Corinth at the same time, you can block land access in that small choke just outside Corinth and Greeks will be helpless a bit. Then you have option on how to move on

Re: Decision time
If you take any province bordering Macedon, my guess is that Macedon will come after you. However, they die easy, even against premarian legions. But if you prefer to only fight Greeks, I suggest taking a province a little further south, such as Apollonia or Ambrakia which Macedonia probably isn't bordering (guessing since I haven't seen your map).

Re: Decision time
Almost forgot, if you play with Garrison script and you siege Sparta, bring your best troops there. You will need them

Re: Decision time
Thanks that helps. Wasn't sure if just by bordering an enemy will cause them to attack....always thought you had to set foot in their land. I'll go at it from the south. I REALLY didn't want to fight both of them, considering there's like 20 stacks waiting for me

Re: Decision time
Macedonians are pretty much prepared for your coming. Use forts once you get too close, that always helps.
