Securom Issues
Everytime I insert my DVD for Medieval 2 Total War: Gold Edition, I get hit with a "Securom Error" saying that it's conflicting with "emulation software"
Not only is it absurd, it's outright false, I don't use emulation software just so I can avoid dealing with the idiocy which is Securom. I cannot install or play the game which I payed money for (I can install by going into the DVD and running Setup.exe, but I still can't play)
Can anyone help me out of the jam which I am in? I think it's absurd that I buy this game legit, and I can't even play it, while if I downloaded it, i'd be having no troubles whatsoever.
But yea, if anyone could help me out here, it'd be much appreciated, oh, and I'm using XP.

Re: Securom Issues
Do you have any games installed like Battlefield2 or Sims2? They use a different version of Securom and cause errors. Also, dvd burning software like Nero will get you a Securom error message.
