    Default Elephants aren't being modelled properly

    Hey all. Playing SS 6.1, and fought against elephants for the first time the other day. Was being be-seiged by a large mongol army, and I knew they had one unit of elephants but I couldn't see them during the battle. Eventually I saw an elephant shaped shadow on the ground when one died from my towers, and the model was that of a heavy mongol cavalry! No idea if the unit was shooting properly but when the rest of the unit ran amok I got to see 6 heavy cav models rampaging through the enemy horde smashing aside their own troops even though the model never came within 6 feet of actually touching them, lol.

    While it was great fun to watch, just wondering if anyone else has this problem? I have both optional mods that come with SS installed as well.

    yeah, thats a common bug

    Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

    it was somewhere on the forum before i thought it was you have too look at stainless steel data in the export_descr_unit and look for elephants then look at ther attributes and in the end off that line you see gunwowder_unit and now you have too type mercenary_unit after it like this gunpowder_unit , mercenary_unit you can look at the other units in the export_descr_unit list that are mercenary units and just type the same mercenary line
